ALBANY, GA --
After serving several years behind bars, a man has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in connection to the death of LaSheldon Stanford.
Antonio Seay has been sentenced to 20 years but only has to serve three.
Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards says since Seay has been behind bars for several years, it will count towards his time sentenced.
Since Antonio Seay is a material witness for the trial involving other suspects involved in the Brickhouse Productions murder, he will not be released from prison until the trial is complete.
Six more defendants will go to trial next week. The court case will resume on Tuesday.
Thirteen people in all are involved in the case. The trial of Jacory Butts and six others has been postponed due to various legal reasons, but officials say each defendant will have his day in court.
