ATLANTA, GA --
A Sunday morning fire in Coffee County has Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens offering a $10,000 reward for information.

Pictures sent along with the press release indicate that not only was the inside set ablaze, but that swastikas were adorned on the outside of the building.

“We are asking that anyone with information about this fire to please call the Georgia Arson Hotline at 1-800-282-5804,” Hudgens said.  “We want to remind everyone that any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be important.”

Officials with the Georgia Department of Insurance say the fire, which occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the Mind of Christ of the Living God, 7031 Highway 32 West in Douglas, heavily damaged the building which was seventy-percent complete. The State Fire Marshal’s office and the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office are conducting the investigation.

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens asks that anyone with information on the fire and vandalism to please call the Arson Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. Rewards of up to $10,000 are given for information leading to the arrest and conviction of an arsonist. Calls are taken 24 hours a day; callers can choose to remain anonymous.
