Proctor and Gamble held a retirement luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Albany to celebrate its retirees. Over 420 former P and G workers turned out to the event.

Vince Falcione with external relations says this is the company's way of saying they appreciate their service.

Retirees were treated to lunch with the chance to win prizes from trivia games.

Ten Proctor and Gamble retirees who recently passed away were also honored during the lunch. Representatives for the company say without retirees the company would not be a success.

Proctor and Gamble is celebrating 40 years of service in Albany and 175 years of existence.
