41-year-old, Kenneth Washington has been charged with child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purpose in Moultrie, Thursday.

Washington was reportedly sending a 9-year-old girl inappropriate text messages and attempting to fondle her.

He had been watching the girl while the mother was at work and demanded she delete all the messages he had been sending her.

The 9-year-old then called her mother and told her about the messages and Washington's sexual advances. 

Washington is currently being held in the Colquitt County Jail, and we will keep you updated as more details become available.
