While walking north on North Merrimac Drive in Fitzgerald Wednesday evening, Katrina Yvette Green was killed by a motorist.

59-year-old, Shirley Ann Krause was driving her 2010 Dodge Journey when she hit Green.

Officials say Shirley Krause will not face charges because by law, a person is supposed to walk facing traffic as far off as the road as possible and Katrina Green failed to do so.
