CORDELE, GA -- The Crisp Academy Wildcats stayed in GISA-A after the most recent reclassification. The Wildcats finished 2011 at the .500 mark, but aren't expecting to stay there this season.

Former Tiftarea Academy Headmaster Ron Drummonds is taking over at the head coaching position. Using a handful of players on both sides of the ball, Coach Drummonds is ready to show off his talent.

“If we can continue to improve and keep our people healthy, we're excited. We've got some great kids, we've got some great supporters. I think people will be proud of Crisp Academy,” Drummonds said.

It’s a three-headed quarterback competition heading in to the Wildcats opening game August 31. Crisp Academy will host Nathanael Greene in the 2012 kickoff.
