ALBANY, GA -- An ankle injury early in his senior season could have been the end of a scholarship chance for Sherwood Christian running back M.J. Green. Much like his 2011 season, Green kept fighting.

Months after signing day, the running back has found his spot. Green has been instant offense throughout his Eagles career and he'll hope to do the same for NAIA school Olivet Nazarene.

The two-time GISA All-Region back averaged nearly 20 yards a touch this season. After his high ankle sprain limited him in the first half of the season, Green says he's been blessed to have this opportunity.

“My dreams were always to go D-1 but every good player is not able to go D-1...you're supposed to go where the best place is for you. It was a blessing to me for this university to still call me as I got hurt this season,” Green said.

Olivet-Nazarene runs a spread offense attack. Green expects to be used all over the field playing as a slot receiver for the Tigers.
