ALBANY, GA -- Albany Tech's early season chemistry issues have been solved. The Titans are clicking just in time for the region tournament.

However, the team is still searching for a consistent secondary scorer to All-Region player Jamorris Gaines. Thankfully, the Titans will have the home court advantage in round one. The "Good Life City" is where the team and Gaines have been at their best.

“I love playing at home. I have better games at home so we should come out with the win. Our fans are here to support us so it should be a pretty good game,” Gaines said.

Titans Head Coach Sylvester Patterson expects someone to be the supporting scorer...he's just not sure who?

“We got to box out and we got to have a number two scorer. I don't know who it's going to be...it's been different guys during the course of the year. Hopefully Tony Fears or Patrick Lewis, maybe Terrance Noel who has had some big games…can step up and be that second scorer,” Coach Patterson said.

The Titans hold a 2-0 advantage over Chattahoochee Tech this season, and plan to take advantage of the Golden Eagles smaller guards.

Due to a scheduling conflict at Albany State, Tuesday's tournament opener has been moved to Darton College. Tip off against the Golden Eagles is set for 7:30 PM.
