ALBANY, GA -- Middle Georgia College 51 // Albany Tech Titans 60

Overtime has been kind to Albany Tech this week.

The Titans had to fight back for a 78-70 win over Central Georgia Tech Thursday. The team used the same extra-time methods for another win Saturday.

Albany Tech defeated Middle Georgia College 60-51 at Albany's HPER Gym. Freshman Terrance Noel led the Titans with 25 points and four assists. Sophomore forward Jamorris Gaines pitched in 18 points and seven rebounds.

The Titans jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the first half. However, Central Georgia whittled the deficit down to 27-25 at the half.

"It was close in the second half, I don't think either team had a lead larger than five," Albany Tech Head Coach Sylvester Patterson said.

Albany Tech opened the overtime period with two straight three pointer before outscoring Middle Georgia 11-2. The Titans move their record to 10-8, 4-2. The team travels to face top conference opponent Georgia Perimeter Tuesday.

Middle Georgia College 70 // Albany Tech Lady Titans 60

With 14 minutes left in the game, the Albany Tech Lady Titans led 37-35 in a back and forth Saturday afternoon match up with Middle Georgia College. Unfortunately for the Lady Titans, that was the best the scoreboard would look for the rest of the day.

Middle Georgia sprung a 15-3 run to put the Lady Titans away 70-60 at HPER Gym Saturday. Albany Tech was plagued by 33 turnovers and offensive rebounds.

Titan Shakima Wiggans led all scorers with 25 points in the loss. While normal double-double forward, Bianca Fennessee, struggled with five points and four rebounds.

The Lady Titans play Tuesday at 5:30 PM.
