Marijuana dealer busted in Dawson

DAWSON, GA -- The
Dawson Drug Unit
has made an arrest after being tipped off Sunday that a man was selling marijuana from his home.
Officers confirmed that tip Monday, leading to the execution of search warrants on Johnson's home on Ballpark Avenue.
When entering the home, officers say they found Johnson and his juvenile son inside the residence. They also found about $400 in cash, two gallon sized bags of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia including scales.
Johnson faces charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drugs within 1000 feet of a school.
