Albany police investigating overnight burglaries

Albany police responded to two different burglary alarms Monday morning.

ALBANY, GA -- Albany police are investigating two early Monday morning
burglaries
after responding to alarms set off at the businesses.
Officers say they responded to alarms at the Pine Avenue Hot Dog King at 2 AM and the South Slappey EZ Corner Grocery at 3 AM.
Both businesses were entered through front windows.
The burglar made off with an unknown amount of cash and lottery tickets from the EZ Corner Grocery while the registers were only damaged at the Hot Dog King.
