AT&T has launched high speed 4G LTE services in some Georgia locations but officials haven't released information about exactly when it will be offered in Albany.
On the other hand, Verizon representatives say they've launched 4G LTE services in Tifton, Moultrie and Bainbridge and it's only a matter of time before the high speed network will be available in Albany.
“Verizon wireless 4G LTE wireless network will be coming to the Albany area. We haven't announced and official date yet but we are aggressively rolling out our new network and we have committed to covering the entire 3G footprint with our 4G LTE by the end of next year,” says Brad Taylor, Verizon Southwest Georgia District Manger.
Representatives for Sprint say they also plan to complete their 4G LTE nationwide build-out by the end of 2013.
