Program overviews were given for the Addy Book Club, Delta Academy, and Delta GEMS, which are education and community service programs for girls in 5th through 12th grade. Also highlighted was the EMBODI program, which was designed for boys.
"We help promote self-esteem, they can learn to be better speakers, they work together, they do a lot of facilitating of their own groups when we get together and it's just to encourage them to build better people," said Shawanna Wise, the chair of Delta Academy.
