ALBANY --
The Post Release Intervention Counseling Services Inc. held a voter registration drive on Saturday in the hopes that ex-offenders would re-claim their right to vote.

Ex-offenders can regain the right to vote in Georgia if they have completed all court sentences including incarceration, fines, probation, parole and restitution.

Chair of the Board, Connie Leggett, says they received a good turnout of ex-offenders who wanted to be able to vote in the upcoming elections.

Leggett says the ex-offenders who showed up were pleased to know they could vote after having the privilege taken away.
