Home invasion on 9th Avenue leaves one person in the hospital

ALBANY, GA -- An early morning home invasion has left one of the victims in the hospital.
Albany police
say that around 12:45 AM, three unknown black males dressed in black and wearing masks entered the home at 1010 9th Avenue demanding money.
Inside the residence at the time was 42-year-old Cesar Salazar, 32-year-old Zhi Zhong Jiang, 30-year-old Saiyun Yu, 35-year-old Liqin Jiang,43-year-old Hengxin Zhu, 9-year-old Emily Zhu, and 6-year-old Jessica Zhu.
Police
say that Liqin Jiang reported that she was inside her bedroom when she heard noises near the back door and when she came out to investigate, she saw the suspects inside the residence with guns. The suspects emptied her purse taking cash and a wallet was taken from another victim.
Saiyun Yu was taken to Phoebe Putney for treatment of a laceration on her forehead.
