ALBANY, GA -- Keith Goodin with
Water, Gas and Light
talked to the Albany City Commission on the Manufactured Gas plant cleanup at the commission's Tuesday morning meeting.
Goodin says ground water has been contaminated but it has not migrated.
However, Albany City Commissioner Bob Langstaff is questioning the efficiency of the test wells to determine that.
In total,
WGL
says they have spent $870,000 since 1985 on this cleanup effort.
