ALBANY, GA -- The Downtown Albany Deck of Arts event has been postponed due to rain.
In a posting to the
FOX 31 Facebook wall
, Downtown Manager Aaron Blair says "they are moving the event to Friday August 3rd". The reason for the move according to Blair is "the chance of rain from 8 PM - 9:30 PM is going to be high and safety is our top concern."
Blair says that the shops of North Washington Street including My Sisters Place, Verge, The Bar Code, and Our Daily Bread will still be open for extended shopping and dining.
