ALBANY, GA --
The Georgia Department of Education released county by county results for each Georgia school system early Thursday morning.

Dougherty County schools were just one of many that learned of the results and theirs can be found below. Individual school system results will be released no later than July 12th according to the Georgia Department of Education website.

Grade 3
Reading - 79.1% met or exceeded the standard, 20.9% did not
English & Language Arts - 83.6% met or exceeded the standard, 16.4% did not 
Math - 70.8% met or exceeded the standard, 29.2% did not
Science - 65.8% met or exceeded the standard, 34.2% did not
Social Studies - 70.7% met or exceeded the standard, 29.3% did not

Grade 4
Reading - 78.5% met or exceeded the standard
English  & Language Arts - 82.6% met or exceeded the standard, 17.4% did not
Math - 71.4% met or exceeded the standard, 28.6% did not
Science - 71.1% met or exceeded the standard, 28.9% did not
Social Studies - 67.2% met or exceeded the standard, 32.8% did not

Grade 5 
Reading - 83.7% met or exceeded the standard, 16.3% did not
English & Language Arts - 91.4% met or exceeded the standard, 8.6% did not
Math - 80.3% met or exceeded the standard, 19.7% did not
Science - 70.8% met or exceeded the standard, 29.2% did not
Social Studies - 68.5% met or exceeded the standard, 31.5% did not

Grade 6
Reading - 92.7% met or exceeded the standard, 7.3% did not
English & Language Arts - 89.6% met or exceeded the standard, 10.4% did not
Math - 74.1% met or exceeded the standard, 25.9% did not
Science - 56.9% met or exceeded the standard, 43.1% did not
Social Studies - 55% met or exceeded the standard, 45% did not

Grade 7
Reading - 91.2% met or exceeded the standard, 8.8% did not
English & Language Arts - 92.1% met or exceeded the standard, 7.9% did not
Math - 90.3% met or exceeded the standard, 9.7% did not
Science - 82% met or exceeded the standard, 8% did not
Social Studies - 74.9% met or exceeded the standard, 25.1% did not

Grade 8
Reading - 91.4% met or exceeded the standard, 8.6% did not
English & Language Arts - 93% met or exceeded the standard, 7% did not
Math - 59.4% met or exceeded the standard, 40.6% did not
Science - 57.7% met or exceeded the standard, 42.3% did not
Social Studies - 60.4% met or exceeded the standard, 39.6% did not
