COLQUITT COUNTY,GA -- News out of Colquitt County--Jerry Evers has announced he will be running for sheriff there.
He qualified as a democrat and will face current Sheriff Al Whittington who's held the office for the last eleven years-and is a republican.
They will face off in the November 6 election.
