Driver crosses median into utility pole

Ashley Brooks was headed north on Palmyra Road shortly before 3 P.M. when she crossed over the median and struck the pole head on, splitting it in half.

ALBANY -- A 26-year-old female was taken to the hospital after she lost control of her car and struck a utility pole.
Ashley Brooks was headed north on Palmyra Road shortly before 3 P.M. when she crossed over the median and struck the pole head on, splitting it in half.
It is unknown at this time why Brooks lost control and her condition and injuries have not been released.
