ALBANY, GA -- The former human resources director at the Dougherty County School System filed an Equal Employment Opportunity complaint (EEOC) against the school system.

According to DCSS Attorney Tommy Coleman, Tracy Williams filed a “notice of charge of discrimination,” citing racial and gender discrimination. Coleman says the complaint also says there was “retaliation” against her.

Back in September the school board voted to terminate her. Allegations say Williams was bullying and intimidating co-workers over several years.

Coleman says EEOC complaints are not uncommon.
