ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Police Department brought in a Georgia Bureau of Investigation's sketch artist to work with victims of recent armed robberies to identify a possible suspect.
Police say the sketch with the man wearing a hat sketch is the person multiple victims of recent armed robberies identified. The man held up two Flash Foods and a Pilot 24-hour convenience store earlier this week. Detective Schemika Foster says it if the public recognizes the man in the sketch they should contact authorities.
A second sketch was drawn identifying the suspect in the armed robbery of a person in the 2200 block of West Gordon Avenue. The suspect was wearing a hoodie and has a distinctive gap in his front teeth.
Police say at this time they’re not sure if they’re dealing with one person or two different men because there is a possibility the sketches could be of the same person.
If you’re able to identify the suspect you’re asked to call the Albany Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
