ALBANY, GA -- A group of men and women escaped injury Sunday night after being the victim of a drive-by shooting.
According to the Albany Police Department, officers responded to the Woodall's on North Slappey Boulevard, in reference to a shooting. The victims reported to the officers that shortly after arriving in the 600 Block of West Tift Avenue Alley, they heard a gun shot.
Witnesses then told officers that shortly after that, two black males in a white, older model Cadillac drove up near their vehicle, and began shooting at them. At that time, they drove to Woodall's and called the Albany police .
According to APD, the victims' vehicle was observed to have several bullet holes on the driver's side. No one was injured.
