APD has arrested 20-year-old Dionte C. Nelson as the driver of the Charger and charged him with aggravated assault, robbery by force, and aggravated battery.

ALBANY, GA -- An Albany man was hit with a car and then robbed by the driver Sunday afternoon.
According to the
Albany Police Department
, units responded to a call at 1100 University Drive in reference to 18-year-old
Michael Ross, Jr. being struck by a white Dodge Charger.
Witnesses told police that Ross was running on foot and apparently tired of running from the vehicle. Once struck, the driver exited the vehicle and went through Ross's pockets.
