LEESBURG, GA -- Lee County held their big Christmas parade Saturday morning.

More than 100 floats took part this year.

Officials say the spectating crowd tripled the amount of people of people that normally attend. Many were out to catch a glimpse of country music star and Lee County native Luke Bryan.

“It's very humbling, this career that I’ve been blesses with you find a humbling moment around every corner and every turn and to come out here and to see so many people that have come out its very special,” said Bryan.

Luke says he's been in Leesburg twice in the past couple of years. On this trip he says he's been spending a lot of time hunting.

Before the parade many woke up early have breakfast with Santa. Lee County High School's theatre arts program held the 16th annual meal.

They invited families to come out have a pancake and sausage breakfast and take pictures with Saint Nick.

“It's our idea here in Leesburg that we want to kick off the season. We want to keep things off right the first weekend of December. And breakfast with Santa is the very first of those events so we're excited about that,” said Davis.

The breakfast is usually held at Lee County this year though it was the newly renovated ninth grade campus.
