ALBANY, GA. -- Floats rolled through the streets of Sylvester to get the community in the Christmas spirit.
The Annual Christmas Parade started at 6:00 p.m. and looped around the city.
Walgreens and the Worth County Animal Shelter were among the floats featured.
Families lined up downtown in Sylvester to catch freebies and enjoy each other's company.
“We come to enjoy the parade as a family and enjoy the festivities and all the lights for the evening,” said Sylvester Resident Diane Singletary.
The city of Sylvester is also illuminated with Christmas lights. The lights were lit the day after Thanksgiving.
