ALBANY, GA -- Investigators with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office confirmed that they have opened an investigation into Albany's election.

They say they cannot elaborate on details or comment on ongoing investigations.

FOX 31 has reached out to the Voter Registration and Elections Office for comment.
