Two seventeen year old males have been arrested in reference to the armed robbery on Newton Road:

• Vontavious Wilcox, age 17
• Justin Wilcox, age 17

The two have been charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.

Original story:

An armed robbery took place Sunday evening at K&S convenient store at 1104 Newton Road.

According to police, two black males walked in with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

They fled soon after getting the money--we don't know how much they got away with, but police are saying the black males were both wearing tank tops, one white and one gray and had t-shirts covering their faces.

One suspect is 5'8, the other about 5'10, both about 130 pounds.

Dougherty County Police are still investigating.
