ALBANY, GA -- About a dozen girls laced up their skates and went to the rink Saturday. The girls are part of the club Ladies in the Making.

They try to host monthly field trips for young girl’s ages seven and up.

“It's designed to try to teach my girls skills about growing up to be productive ladies in the society. To try to get them a good positive idea on how ladies are supposed to carry themselves,” said Gloria Bridges.

Ladies in the Making is a new club in Albany, they just started in January. For more information on future events parents can call Gloria Bridges at 430-5242.
