ALBANY, GA. -- A veteran police officer is behind bars tonight after an undercover sting caught him trying to solicit an underage girl.

Crisp County Deputy Albert Pole, 63, was arrested Tuesday by the Butts County Sheriff’s Department who posed as a 15-year-old girl, and set up a meeting with Pole.

Pole is charged with attempting to commit child molestation.
