LEE COUNTY, GA -- A Lee County man has taken his singing talents to the television competition “America’s Got Talent,” where he is a finalist.

Taylor Davis, 19, of Lee County, auditioned for judges in Atlanta in March. Since then, he has traveled both Las Vegas and Los Angeles to compete.

“I want to give the best performance that I can, and I want people to enjoy and feel what I love to do, you know what I enjoy,” Davis Said. “And so I think that's one of the greatest things of performing is being able to look at somebody and them to be able to feel what I feel.”

Davis said he started singing and playing guitar at a young age. The winner of the competition will be announced later this summer; they will receive $1 million, and a chance to perform in Las Vegas.
