ALBANY, GA -- Police responded to an aggravated assault Friday night.

It happened in an alley around 10:30 p.m.

Police went to the alley behind 1200 West Highland Avenue and found Jerome Walden; beaten with swollen eyes and possibly broken ribs.

Walden told police he had been chased through a house by three unknown black men and then beaten.

Walden was taken to an area hospital and treated.
