ALBANY, GA -- Some local doctors are hoping to help some Darton College students make their way into the medical field. The Dougherty County Medical Society presented a check to Darton for $5,000 Friday.

The money will go to the Darton College Foundation Allied Health Scholarship Program. The organization has raised money for the program in the past and plans to donate more money in the future.
