ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Police Department is soliciting the public’s help in locating 30-year-old Carlton Harris, Jr. 

Harris is facing kidnapping and cruelty to a child charges. Police responded to a domestic abuse call October 10 on the 900 block of South Street. The victim, Harris’ wife, reported that her husband tried to kidnap her, and dragged her with his car. Harris may possibly be operating a blue 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser.

In an unrelated case, Albany police are looking for 47-year-old Dexter Tyrone Shavers. 

Detectives want to question Shavers to determine if he has any information that will assist them in the ongoing death investigation of 40-year-old Flora Hoskins.
