ASU Rams are undefeated
ALBANY, GA -- Albany city officials say they want the town painted in blue and gold.
The Albany State University Rams are 11 and 0 this season and ranked in the top five of college football’s division II schools.
The Rams have a home playoff game on Saturday and more will follow if they are victorious.
Home games mean more revenue for Albany’s restaurants, stores, and hotels.
"We really want everybody to support the team, put out the ‘Go Rams’ signs, dress the city in blue and gold and let’s support our university," said Teresa Smith of the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Saturday’s game against Delta State is at the Albany Coliseum at 1:00pm.
