MACON, GA -- A reward of $7,500 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for a brutal attack on a 13-year-old quarter horse in Georgia.
Molly, a former therapy horse for handicapped children, was found in her Butler pasture suffering from lacerations to the head, ear and neck, said Stacy Segal, an equine specialist for the animal cruelty division of the Humane Society of the United States.
The injuries were so severe that Molly was hospitalized for 17 days and continues to receive rehabilitative care.
