ALBANY, GA -- Albany Police say a man has been arrested for the murder of 54-year-old Frankie Carr.

30-year-old Gregory Spann was arrested late Friday night; he's charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. Police found Carr lying on the ground in a vacant lot near the corner of East Broad and Church Street at about 2 a.m. Friday.

Albany Police say a witness saw Carr being beat with a pipe.
