T.E.A.M. holds "one stop shop" event

Religious and community outreach group volunteers to bring Albany together, help those in need

ALBANY, GA -- Religious and community outreach group T.E.A.M. brought Albany "together" because, as their namesake says, together everyone achieves more.

T.E.A.M. and local community organizations held a “one stop shop” event on Saturday. Free clothes and food were available from the Food and Clothing Bank for the first 50 families. The Albany State University basketball team helped pack and carry the goods for patrons.

“Part of being a good citizen is always giving back and helping out. Everyone’s not fortunate enough to have these things so if you can assist people with their needs it’s always great to see that,” says ASU Basketball Coach Chris Cameron.

Free health screenings were also available.

This is the fifth year T.E.A.M. and the church held this event.
