ALBANY, GA. -- The Albany Police Department responded to a hit and run in the 1200 block of South Madison Street around 9:25 p.m. Saturday evening.

When paramedics arrived 59-year-old Murray Scott was non-responsive, had serious injuries, and was immediately taken to the hospital.

Witnesses say Scott was struck by an unidentified dark colored truck that sustained damage to one of its front headlights.
