ATLANTA (AP) -- A federal official says another arrest has been made in the killing of a Georgia State University student outside his loft apartment in Atlanta.

U.S. marshal's inspector James Ergas said Tuesday that Javon Pittman was arrested in Newburgh, N.Y., about 60 miles north of New York City, after a rooftop chase.

Pittman is being held without bond pending extradition to Atlanta in the killing of 20-year-old Maxwell Fiandt, who was shot in the head outside his apartment on March 3.

A co-defendant, Hector Marquez, was arrested in April in Clarkston, and Ergas said another suspect was arrested earlier this month.
