(AP) -- ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta Police say a woman has been charged in the fatal stabbing of her brother.

Police spokeswoman Kim Jones says 44-year-old Charlene Barber was captured without incident Sunday and charged with murder in the stabbing of 36-year-old Kirby Devereaux.

Police say the two had been arguing in a house, and an uncle who was there heard a door slam. He told police he found Devereaux on the sofa with a stab wound to the chest.

Jones says Devereaux was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, but he died of his injuries. She says Barber is being held at the Fulton County Jail.
