Albany Tech students show off portfolio at career fair

The event was held in the Kirkland Center
Students at Albany Technical College took their first step toward the corporate world Wednesday at the college's career fair.
Close to fifty businesses - from car dealerships to restaurants were there, including businesses from Atlanta, Columbus, and Tallahassee.
“The employees enjoy coming here because they can actually talk with skilled worker or skilled potential workers. These students have the technical skills the employers are looking for. They've been groomed very well and know how important it is to be a good employee,” Said Director of Career Services, Judy Jimmersion.
The event was from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
