Cell phones and drugs getting into prisons

Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards says there have been multiple instances of residents making drops of contraband like cell phones and drugs to prisoners on work detail.

The cell phones could be used to harass victims of the alleged crime and are prohibited to inmates. The District Attorney warns the public not to get involved because there are felony charges that go along with helping criminals receive prohibited items.
