The Water, Gas and Light Commission has received some very good news.

Fiscal Affairs Director John Van Sant says that the light department, which had been struggling as of late, was finally ahead of budget for the first time in month.  WG&L also has plans for federal stimulus money should they receive any, and maintenance has started to prepare their workers for severe weather season.
