Self-serve regular gasoline is costing you an average 2 cents more per gallon than a month ago.

AAA Georgia reports the average statewide price for regular Monday is almost $1.78 a gallon.  The average prices for midgrade
and premium fuels are $1.91 and $1.99 a gallon, respectively.  According to the auto club, the national average price for
regular is $1.91.  Despite the increase, the statewide price of regular gasoline is $1.36 below its level one year ago.
