ALBANY, GA -- The Lee County Board of Commissioners met Friday to discuss the paving of David Road.

Throughout the last several months the board has discussed a list of roads that are in need of paving. Vice-Chairman, Rick Muggridge, says he's thrilled to check one road off that list.

"The reason we met was to open a bid for David Road, and that was just short and sweet, the lower bidder got the bid and we're one more road down," said Muggridge.

The board will be adjourned until July 10th to honor the 4th of July holiday.
