FOX 31's Facebook fans want to know whether yawning is contagious or not.
ALBANY, GA. -- For FOX 31’s Facebook story of the day, fans want to know if yawning is contagious.
Research done at the State University of New York in Albany, New York says yes.
In the study, 65 college students were told to watch videos of others yawning and as a result 41.5 percent of the subjects ended up yawning.
Researchers say self-awareness may be one reason why yawns are contagious.
