ALBANY, GA -- In the Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know if there are any plans to add new
bus routes
around Albany.
FOX 31 spoke to Tennasha Gresham, the
Albany Transit
planner; she said they are always looking at ways to accommodate citizen's needs for less crowded buses and shorter ride times.
Some of the changes they are considering are redesigning current routes and even adding additional busses.
Albany Transit officials encourage public input from telephone calls and public meetings for feedback on how to improve their transportation.
No changes will be made without first notifying the public, so be sure to keep an eye out for notices at your bus stop as well as postings in the paper to find out about up and coming transit schedule meetings.
