ALBANY, GA --
The Lee County Board of Commissioners Personnel Committee held a special called meeting in Albany to talk about the renewal of Health Plan Benefits on Monday.

The committee met at the offices of J. Smith Lanier to review the new plan options in detail.

Chairman Rick Muggridge says the committee has to carefully sort through their options so they can pick what's most effective for the community while still keeping costs down.

Muggridge says he believes the county will still receive affordable care despite the changes in healthcare.
