ALBANY, GA --
A man charged in 2011 armed robbery has been convicted for his crimes.

On June 29, 2011, Albany police say that Lester McBride was robbed at gunpoint by three unidentified black males in an apartment complex at 1013 Cedar Ave. 

Multiple pairs of tennis shoes along with cash were taken from McBride.

Albany police say that James Cedric Strum was positively identified and charged with the armed robbery.

Storm went to trial and was convicted Tuesday of one count armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault according to Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards.
